Law n° 10,741, of October 1, 2003 – The Statute of the elderly – The law of the weakest

Abstract

This article talks about Law No. 10,741, of October 1, 2003, which provides for the Statute of the Elderly, more specifically we will analyze the general principles of the law and the use in the daily life of the elderly. The following problem was investigated: "What are the legislative innovations related to Law No. 10,741, of October 1, 2003. 

The following hypothesis was considered: "translation of the articles into a practical and clear language". The overall objective is the construction of a day-to-day law enforcement methodology. The specific objectives are: what impacts on society; what the benefits, when and how to use the law. This work is important from a social perspective because it enables a new tool for the exercise of the rights of the elderly.
