Abstract

This article analyzes the intellectual, entrepreneurial, and political-ideological trajectory of Alexander Karp, co-founder and CEO of Palantir Technologies, placing his thought within the context of the new techno-political currents of the contemporary far right. It first examines his philosophical background and doctoral thesis on aggression, jargon, and culture, highlighting the hypothesis that certain forms of aggression may operate as mechanisms of social integration and cohesion. It then addresses the relationship between Karp, Peter Thiel, and Palantir, particularly the strategic role of artificial intelligence, large-scale data analysis, and surveillance and defense technologies in the new global geopolitics. The core of the analysis focuses on the theses presented in The Technological Republic and in the manifesto released by Palantir in 2026, which advocate Western technological superiority, closer ties between technology companies and the state, the strengthening of software-based hard power, and criticism of cultural relativism, pluralism, and woke culture. The article concludes that, despite its republican vocabulary, Karp's proposal tends to subordinate dimensions of democratic sovereignty to private digital infrastructures, thereby configuring a project of reactionary technological illiberalism and a techno-political reconfiguration of the state.
