Abstract

In this material, the subject of analysis and interpretation of tables and graphs was addressed. The concepts of two of the main measures of position were also defined, the first was the arithmetic mean, which is a measure of position with central tendency, the second was the mode, which is a measure of position that determines the most frequent element of a data set.

[1] Mestrado em Matemática pela Universidade de Brasília (1998) e graduado em Licenciatura Matemática pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1994). Atualmente é professor em tempo parcial da Faculdade Processus e atua na área de Matemática e Finanças.
