BRIEF CONSIDERATIONS ON THE LIMITS OF THE EMPLOYER'S DISCIPLINARY POWER UNDER SOCIAL MEDIA AND FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

Abstract

The subject of this article is brief considerations on the limits of the employer's disciplinary power under social media and freedom of expression. The following problem was investigated: "What is the limit of the employer's disciplinary power under social media and freedom of expression?". The following hypothesis was hypothesized: "The employee has a right to criticism on social networks". The overall goal is to "To analyze the employer's limit on the employee's personal life". The specific objectives are: "to demonstrate the need to protect the privacy and privacy of the worker, by limiting the employer's directive power in the use of social media"; "Define the employer's limits on the employee's personal life"; "Discuss about employee freedom of expression on social networks". This work is important from an individual perspective due to the repercussion of the employer's disciplinary power from the reflexes of social media; for science, is relevant because it delimiting employment powers; adds to society by clarifying workers' rights and their freedom of expression. This is a theoretical qualitative research lasting six months.
