BRIEF CONSIDERATIONS ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PUBLIC POLICIES ON THE RESOCIALITION OF THE MINOR INFRINGER

Abstract

The theme of this article is the effectiveness of Public Policies aimed at re-socializing the minor offender. The following problem was investigated: What are public policies? What are the public policies applied to adolescents in conflict with the law? Public policies aimed at the young offender are achieving effectiveness desired ?. The following hypothesis was considered "it is known that socio-educational measures are intended to provide young offenders with new life expectations, making the offending adolescent an individual capable of socially relating to their family members and to society". The general objective is to analyze the effectiveness of public policies aimed at re-socializing the minor offender. The specific objectives are "Conceptualize the Statute of Children and Adolescents". "Define what are the socio-educational measures applied to the re-socialization of Children and Adolescents". "Analyze the efficiency of public policies aimed at the re-socialization of Children and Adolescents". This work is important in an individual perspective due to the social questioning about the efficiency of the existing social programs that aim to protect, prevent and re-socialize the children and youth population that are in conflict with the law. For science, it is relevant because there are studies, research, methodology that determine the effectiveness of socio-educational measures that are applied to children and adolescents. It adds to society because criminality is one of the most serious social problems facing the Brazilian population today and the involvement of increasingly young people has become a social concern. This is a qualitative theoretical research lasting six months.
