THE WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ORGANIZATION (WIPO) CONVERSATIONS ON AI AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Since 2019, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has held meetings to analyze the impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) on intellectual property. The current research, which began last year, aims to evaluate and summarize the results obtained so far, as well as the unresolved problems and challenges based on discussions with participating academics and organizations. This November, there will be a tenth session focusing more on copyright. Regarding copyright, we have numerous observations from ongoing research on sculptures with students from PROFNIT/UNB. The research method is bibliographic, based on the material available on the Internet provided by WIPO, and the review research will be used to evaluate the AI context.
